Yorkshire 3 peaks 15th May 2010

As part of out training for Kilimanjaro we decided to take on the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge, to climb the three highest peaks walking between them some 25 miles in under 12 hours. I am pleased to report we managed it in 10 hours exactly.

Feds cooking breakfast at 6am. We camped the Friday night, walked Saturday camped that night dinning on pot noodles and returned Sunday.

The views were stunning and weather perfect. Its a long walk with three steep climbs Pen-y-ghent, then Whernside and finally up Ingleborough a steep up and down!

I took this photo as we headed towards Whernside.
