Sunday morning, armed with a thick head from the 41 club ladies night the night before I managed to do 8 miles from home down to Barling sea wall. I wanted to walk this part of the wall for a bit of training, but also to see if there was any rubbish to collect.
For the last 6 years I have co ordinated a group of good people to collect litter washed up along this streatch of the river. For info see

We have picked up approx 75 tonnes of rubbish over the years. Its made a big impact but we have to keep at it..
